VINTAGE CARNIVAL GLASS DUGAN WATER PITCHER, GOLDEN IRIDESCENT - POSSIBLY FENTON, MARIGOLD BANDED FLORAL GRAPE PATTERN AND SIX TUMBLERS
The pitcher is in perfect condition, has a deeply ruffled top, is Marigold in color, has a banded floral grape pattern, the shape is bulbous and looks as if never used. Some documentation indicates this pitcher is rare and from early Carnival Glass, 1910-1911 and states the handle is crystal. It is a light orange/peach color. Highly iridescent. It measures 9" tall, 11.5" wide, 23" around the center, the ruffled top is 6.5" across, the handle is 4.5" from top to bottom. The footed bottom is 4" across and the exterior footed bottom diameter is 13.5".
The six tumblers look as if they have never been used. The pattern is banded and floral grape. The color is Marigold dark orange. Four are flawless and two have slight imperfections most likely due to manufacturing flaws. One has two tiny indentations in the top rim, exactly across from each other and one has a slight indentation on one side of the top rim. They measure 4" tall, 3" across the top and the diameter around the top exterior lip is 9 3/4".
